ORDERS1.1. By paying for the commission, the client agrees to the terms of service.1.2. Payment is taken 100% upfront by the VGen commission service or by the PayPal invoicing system.1.3. The client may ask for a split payment for orders above 150 EUR. The artist will send the finished piece only after receiving the full payment.1.4. The client should attach visual references to the order (examples: artworks, game screenshots, a set of inspiration photo references). The visual references should not contain images generated with AI. The orders that include only text descriptions or vague inspiration photos are subject to a design fee.1.5. While ordering, the client should state:— if they agree to the watermarked finished artwork being posted on social media (if not, the privacy fee will be charged);— if they agree to the watermarked WIP images being posted on social media;— if they prefer their name to be kept private.1.6. While ordering, the client should include information about deadlines, if applicable. Short deadlines come with a rush fee (+25–100% of the final price).
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS2.1. The artist retains the right to cancel and refund the commission at any time for any reason, including inappropriate behavior, lack of communication, or personal reasons.2.2. If the commission is canceled without any reason given, the client will receive a 100% refund (unless agreed otherwise in later stages of the process).2.3. If the commission is canceled due to the client's inappropriate behavior or lack of communication, the client will receive a partial refund, depending on the amount of work already done.2.4. The client may cancel the commission before the artist starts working on it. The client will receive a 100% refund in this case.2.5. The client may cancel the commission after the artist starts working on it. The client will receive a partial refund, depending on the amount of work already done.2.6. If delays on the artist’s side results in the commission not being finished before the agreed delivery time, the client may either request a refund or extend the deadline.2.7. The client may not complete the unfinished artwork or commission anyone else to do it without the artist’s permission.

COMMISSION PROCESS3.1. The client may request the artwork to be created in the CMYK color profile suitable for printing.3.2. The client will receive WIP updates at each stage unless agreed otherwise. This rule does not apply to “surprise me!” commissions.3.3. Three free revisions are available during each stage of the process. Each next revision costs a €5 fee. The client should state the changes they wish to be implemented as soon as possible.

USAGE4.1. By default, the commissioned artwork is for personal use only. A commercial license may be purchased additionally (+100–200% of the final price).4.2. Using the commissioned artwork for AI prompting or training purposes is strictly prohibited.4.3. Using the commissioned artwork for NFT-related projects is strictly prohibited.4.4. The artist retains the right to put the artwork in their portfolio and use it for advertising purposes unless the privacy fee is paid.

REFERENCE SHEET

BASE PRICE (2 FULLBODIES + BUST + TRINKETS): €300
INCLUDES:
✦ A reference sheet featuring an original character.
✦ Clean lineart, full color, and minimalist shading.
✦ The base price includes two fullbodies of the same pose with different outfits, one bust, and one trinket/prop/symbol panel. The layout, number and content of panels may be discussed.
✦ Text may be added for free. The commissioner must write and proofread the text on their own. The text should be short and concise.
DETAILS:
✦ Files: a full-resolution PNG, a transparent PNG, and a low-resolution watermarked JPG.
✦ RGB color profile (the commissioner may request CMYK files while ordering).
✦ Turnaround time: up to 12 weeks (3–6 weeks on average).
✦ Workflow: sketch → client feedback → lineart → client feedback → color → client feedback → final delivery. More WIPs may be sent if necessary.
ADD-ONS:
✦ Additional fullbody (same pose): €75
✦ Additional fullbody (different pose): €125
✦ Additional bust: €50
✦ Complex character design: €75 (per fullbody drawing)
✦ Additional panel: €25
✦ Character design fee: €75 (includes a character and one outfit)
✦ Outfit design fee: €50 (per outfit)

PRICING EXAMPLE: The reference sheet shown above has three fullbodies of the same pose, two busts, two simpler panels, and two simple flower decorative panels (they are the same and count as one). Two fullbodies, one bust, and one simple panel are included in the base price, €300. This means there is one additional fullbody (€75), one additional bust (€50), and two additional simple panels (€25 multiplied by 2). The whole reference sheet costs €475.
Additional fees would apply if the character design was more complex, or if the character and outfits had to be designed from scratch.

FEES

Each artwork may come with additional fees, depending on specific requests of the client. Except for add-ons that are specified for each commission type, the following types of fees may apply:
DESIGN FEES:
Will be charged if the client doesn't have a predesigned character/outfit but only description and vague visual references/moodboards.
COMPLEXITY FEES:
Will be charged if the character wears a complex outfit full of patterns, jewelry and small details (heavy armor fall into this category), has wings, multiple heads or arms, specific markings on their body (example: tattoos that are not covered by clothing), or uses complex props. Props, including disability aids, are free unless their designs are very ornate.

PRIVACY FEES:
Will be charged if the client wishes the artwork to never be posted publicly.
25% of the final price.

RUSH FEES:
Will be charged if the requested deadline is closer than the estimated turnaround time for the commission.
25–100% of the final price.
COMMERCIAL USE FEES:
Will be charged if the client wishes to use the artwork for commercial purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, selling merch, advertising products, using the artwork as a book or album cover, using the artwork as a prop in a video game.
100–200% of the final price.
